Kayaking with the Manatees of the St Johns River Feb 11, 2015

The St Johns was a river haven today! 70 degrees and sunny, Manatee heaven and birds galore. The Limpkins were out feeding along with the Purple Gallinule and Wood Storks. There were a few nice sized Gators and Turtles out sunning too. The Cypress Trees are starting to green up and there were lots of Manatees feeding as well. We got a good look at several as they passed by. This is what Mother Nature is all about and I can think of no other place I'd rather be ;-).
