The Ole St Johns never gets old March 31, 2015

With paddling guests from the UK and LA perfect weather greeted us this morning on the St Johns River and her backwaters. Little Blue Herons, Great Egrets, Sandhill Cranes, Ospreys and many other fine feathered friends were spotted along the way. The Great Blue Heron nest now has 2 babies inside but after scanning the area we saw 2 new Great Blues testing their wings close to the nest. The Bald Eagle is still sitting atop his sentinel tree watching over his kingdom and we got to see 2 large Gators sunning with numerous Turtles. We came up on the Barred Owl in the swamp and no matter how many times we paddle the Ole St Johns never gets old.
